Ki. Rajanarayanan, Sundara Ramaswamy, Mu. Karunanidhi, Maa. Aranganathan, Raj Gowthaman, Vilvarathinam, Ravikumar, Pama, Rajendira Cholan, Charu Niveditha, Azhagiya Periyavan, and others.
Of the contemporary new poets of Tamil literature:
Kanimozhi, Malathimaithri, Salma, Ramesh-Prem, Kalapriya, Anand as well as of the world – renowned Dancer – Ragunath Manet. And the most mellifluous and melodious Singer – Sanjai Subramanian is also documented. Co-worker in the project of documenting “Kolams in Tamilnadu Villages” with the esteemed scholar, Mary Pramila Boseman. With Leena Manimegalai, collaborated in the short Films “Parai” (The Drum), 2003 and “Breaking the Shackles” (2004). Of Vellore, an historically revered place, which had not been so far documented in such a flavour and spice, has been done by Puduvai Ilavenil.
PHOTO EXHIBITIONS:
On the Doyen of Karisal Illakiyam, “Ki.Ra” at Puducherry in September, 2003 and at Kovai, March 2004, appreciated by the famous Film – Maker, Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Actors – Sivakumar, Nazaar, Artist – Adimoolam. On the veteran Writer-Poet-critic, “Su.Ra’ in the Alliance Francaise, Chennai, Artists – Adimoolam, Marudu, Actor Nazaar, Modern Playwright – Naa. Muthuswamy, Art Director – Krishnamoorthy and such like personalities participated and appreciated. On the Topic of World Photography Day, “Eye Looms”, participated in the Group photographers in Aug-2005. On the title of “Puram Narpadu”, Exteriorscape 40, held in the Alliance Francaise, Puducherry in Nov-2005 inaugurated by the karisal doyen of letters, “Ki-Ra”, Film Director – Thangar Bachan, Film Firector Parthiban, participated and appreciated.
CREATIVE WORKS:
A Haiku poems collection: “Indha” (this…); a new poetry collection; “Kadakka Vendiya Irravu” (the Night to be crossed).
PRODUCTION OF SHORT FILMS:
“Vilimbil” – a 24 minute short film on the world of children; “Kankaluku Appal” – (beyond the eye view-point) – a 30 minute short film on a Blind Boy, screened in the International short film festival, held at Swiss, Germany and Srilanka.
CREATIVE IMPULSE:
Photography and videography in “Min Thamizh” – a CD Rom journal.
DREAMS OF AMBITION:
To creatively document the contemporary and coeval personalities and personages of the world of letters as well as the Natural Scenic Beauties of our Mother Earth.
